Yukinari, a young man living in a boarding house in Taisho-era Tokyo, earnestly spends his days as the people around him expect him to. One day, while walking through town to clear his head, he notices a tearoom and steps inside. There, he finds a group of strikingly handsome men working as waiters. Guided to his seat by Kasumi, a man of exceptional beauty, Yukinari promptly orders black tea with three sugar cubes. But just as he begins to relax over the tea Kasumi has brewed for him, Kasumi gives him a seductive smile and says, "Shall we begin?" Only then does Yukinari realize he has unknowingly purchased "special time" with Kasumi.
