Tsukikake Gohan

Kono Genta is a former yakuza who was imprisoned after a certain incident. After serving a sentence of over a decade, he is released, but the world has completely changed. Through the introduction of his probation officer, he is able to find a place to live and a job, but he feels uncomfortable with the kindness shown to him by others and aims to become independent as soon as possible. However, it is not easy for a criminal with no family or friends to live a "normal" life... But even Kono has one joy: daily "mealtimes." He ingeniously prepares simple yet special meals with his limited money. While Kono continues to live his daily life despite the difficulties of life, a hungry boy appears before him.
