The title story, "Canon," is the story of a boy who has lost his memory and is confused by the existence of a woman who claims to be his wife and by others who call him "Grandpa." The book also includes other stories published in Le Paradis (Hakusensha) and its online supplements, including "Ningyo," "Umizibi After," "Yume no Onna," "One's Place," "Hachisu no Hana After," and "Yakusoku."
