In order to get through a bout of writer's block on his latest romance novel, author Aoi Miyashita takes the advice of his editor, Kairi Kurihara, and the two begin a simulated romantic relationship. Aoi hopes that by doing this, he'll be able to understand just how the female protagonist of his story is feeling. He ends up being possessed by her, confusing his own feelings with hers. Are his feelings for Kairi real, or all pretend...? In the meantime, Kairi begins to develop his own special feelings for Aoi whenever the author glances his way or gives him a certain look. Will their relationship end when Aoi finishes writing his novel...?
