Reading Between The Lines

In the 1910s, orphan Benjamin gets a guardian. He comes to the orphanage to sponsor the smartest and kindest child, but leaves behind only an elegant back in Benjamin's memory. Benjamin, who always exchanged affectionate letters, went to the city to find his guardian Sonny after becoming an adult, but the Sonny he actually met was a young man who was clearly a scoundrel.
