Shura no Ie

In 1981, Tama, a 28 year old teacher, catches the eye of the eldest son of a prestigious family and decides to marry him. However, in her new home, her mother-in-law treats her like trash and bullies her. She locks her out late at night, turns the timer for the rice cooker, and more. Even when she tells her husband what's happening, she finds herself all alone, with him insisting that his mother means no harm.
