Haru's Love Story

Haru is the eldest daughter of the Kogome Family. The Kogome family has been considered a 'fallen' family with barely a penny to their name. To save face, Haru must marry a rich young man to improve the family standing. As it is, her recent arrangement with warrant officer Narihira Hishii is Haru's last chance in securing a marriage. To everyone's surprise, Narihira falls in love with Haru at first sight and immediately proposes marriage. Overwhelmed, Haru asked for more time to think about it. So starts the love story between modern woman Haru and the persistent Officer Narihira.
